Sudhir Naik, deeply rooted in South Indian culinary traditions, comes with extensive experience in operating and expanding restaurant chains. His expertise in kitchen operations, menu development, and maintaining authentic flavours ensures that every dish stays true to its origins. His commitment to quality and consistency forms the backbone of the brand's food philosophy.
Ami and Sudhir joined forces four years ago, blending her business mastery with his culinary expertise to build one of Mumbai's most loved destinations for South Indian comfort food. Their partnership introduced Benne Dosa to Mumbai and continues to bring regional flavours to the city with authenticity, warmth, and heart.
It has nothing to do with casteism or division and it simply a reflection of tradition, authenticity, and the way food has been prepared for generations. Just like 'Punjabi Dhaba' or 'Parsi Café' represents a food culture, our name highlights the care, purity, and hygiene we put into every dish we serve.
